when daytrading, should I be selling 1-2% gains or look for 10%+?

Idfk but don't fuck yourself by taking 1-2% and losing on trading fees.

>> No.9202810

you should know when the dip is coming at any percentage gain. if you sold right before a 15% percent pump for example, you're a bad day trader and need to study more.

In stocks 2% is great
Crypto 4-8% easy do able

I'm just starting studying TA, any advice on materials to read / watch for when to close a position?

>> No.9203929

I always go between -2% and -5% each time so I don’t get greedy, anything more or in the plus makes me feel guilty like I’m swindling the exchange.

>> No.9204862

i usually try to get ~5%. if indicators arent strong, ill be satisfied with ~3%, if the are i try to get ~8-10%.
dont forget your stop-losses too, sometimes the market will go against your bet. remember, you dont need to win every bet to be in the green.
