On a serious note, I don't really have any drive unfortunately, lucked out with the work I have and earn a good and comfortable amount to eat well, sleep well, drive well, vacation well and still afford everyday luxuries, the odd night out, that book I want or that dvd I want or whatever I want that doesn't cost huge amounts

Prestige says me absolutely nothing, so I am not wasting money on expensive clothes, new car, expensive place to live, newest smartphone etc.

I wouldnt have anything of value to teach you, other than make an account at a stock place and do trial and error.

I recently downloaded the robinhood app (android or apple marketplace).

It asks for your information, and for a way to move money into your account, then you can buy and sell shares.

This is the tricky part that I am absolutely zero help on. I just bought a few shares of something that "might" increase in value.

Thats a bad way to look at it, but im learning.

Today was my first day, and I onlt made 28 cents that I will likely lose tomorrow.

Dont spend anything you cant afford to lose, because you probably will.

Trial and error, google company news before you buy their shit, do more research, and then take a leap of faith with a percentage of your money. Dont put all of your broccoli in one box, and dont get anxious to buy or sell because the stock can decrease 20% in a half hour.

That would be my advice, but im not exactly qualified to answer just yet.

I want to be a technology entrepreneur and investor, and I want the companies I start/invest in to actually make people's lives better. Basically I want to contribute to the scientific and technologic advancement of the human species as much as I can. I want to become as rich as possible (in the billionaire range), but my only motivation for getting rich is so that I can reinvest it into my companies so that I may contribute more to the advancement of the human species.

I also want to be able to donate large sums of money to fund scientific research, it pisses me off how funding for scientific research today is at the mercy of retarded politicians who literally cannot take a fucking derivative. Seriously, nuclear energy, GMO and many other super useful technologies are being thrown into the shitter because fucking english majors who sucked their way to the top and who doesn't have a fucking clue of what they're talking about don't like "unnatural food" or because they think anything nuclear = bad (they probably don't even know that the sun is a giant fucking fusion reactor).

That's all I care about. Getting filthy fucking rich so that I can advance science and technology as much as possible before I die.

I don't see any reason for earning any more than like $250k if you're only gonna spend it on yourself. If you're not happy with a comfy house somewhere nice and a having all your reasonable expenses paid for, a bigger house or a more expensive car won't make you any happier.
