FUD AMD edition

A resident tripfag, obergruppenfuhrer (Comfy), requested that it be excluded until he gets the next version up and running. Will refund those involved. Stay tuned!

Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

The funds on her fax paper: VWENX, VINIX, VSEQX, TASVX, RWIFX

Can someone clue me in as to how these 401k programs work exactly? I know a recession is soon, so I don't want her to lose out but I know a 401K is so long term that she can just go all-in SPY and make like 600% by the time she retires, which is far and away above any kind of earnings these funds offer.

Read the Value of Averaging. It’s gonna change the way you view the stock market.
Also when it comes to research, look for what variables are at play for a company you’re interested in that will come into effect and cause value to be added to your target company.

Anything that appears like it’s going to add value to the company, will more often than not, add said value. Just be careful of falling for traps like the ol’ “COMPANY X IS GONNA BUY COMPANY Y, YOU BETTER BUY COMPANY Y” you need to verify before making such a decision based off that information.

nah it barts up all the time on news. oil is really manipulated and moves like how really controlled crypto does.

also im not expecting oil to act anything like what it has in the last couple of years. israel wants that golan oil, and they just passed legislation that allows bibi to declare war on iran without govt approval. its on. whether we get involved is another story (but is VERY likely), but regardless, open conflict between israel, russia, and syria is going to cause demand for oil to soar like it did when we invaded iraq. this is especially so if other nearby countries get involved such as jordan, egypt, iraq etc...

youre right that strengthening dollar should be bearish, but OPEC has already decided its going up because theyre still pissed the saudis crashed it last time.

thou shalt not bet against OPEC

>> No.9181020

>>9180928
Great info m8. I’m gonna be looking into this, believe you me.

This is just me thinking out loud; I’m a bit concerned that if I go long with USO, and things don’t go my way, that I’m gonna be leveraged into a massive amount of debt. But I suppose that’s just the risk for any options. On the other hand, there really is no where for USO to go but up if there is more demand for oil. I wouldn’t expect it to go lower if the world starts using more US oil exports than it is now, that’s for sure.

>> No.9181173

>>9181020
aramco said that US shale is gonna be the top oil producer by next year. like i said, its been decided. saudis pissed off other OPEC countries (and US) by crashing the oil market to drive out competition. this hurt a lot of OPEC countries, as well as SA itself. thus, saudis are so strapped for cash that theyre doing an aramco IPO (as much as i hate the saudi oil cartel, count me the fuck in).

so we got OPEC saying its goin up, SA begrudgingly agreeing out of necessity, seriously rising tensions in the middle east (ie possible open conflict/declared war), and israel desperate to get at "their" golan oil (look up GNE if you havent, and i dont mean the chart. look up the major shareholders and it will be very clear to you what is going on in syria).

on the other hand, we have a rising dollar, which IS a detractor, but since this latest bullrun has more to do with rising rates than anything, i imagine it will turn back around sharply at some point.

i got some 1 and a half year calls on USO, some shorter term ones for a swing, and i hedge with puts and/or DWT.

dont get left behind m8, we oil barons now

also, puts on bonds (TLT) is a freebie too as bonds get nuked by rate hikes. same deal, hedge with puts and/or TMF

toss in some high yielding div stocks and then give yourself some cash to daytrade like a retard with the rest of us. cant go wrong

first off, that only works if its a bull market or if you have a long timeframe and a bunch of dough to buy up the dips in a bear market

second off, did ya ever think people have different risk appetites than you? its not like any of us have our entire portfolio in OTM options. and active trading, if done correctly, carefully, and methodically, will outperform the S&P every time.

thirdly, i cant seem to wrap my head around why such a superior trader like yourself finds it necessary to come back here every day and shit on us retards for having a good time?
