I made a hundred dollars in the span of a few hours today with an original capital insertion of a few hundred dollars. Today was a good day, and hopefully tomorrow will be even better.

Saudi never stops delivering.

So /biz think oil bottomed? No more dip backs?

>> No.917320

Looks like it, but I seriously hope not. I'm not nearly done buying. I would imagine that even after crude bottoms, stocks could still drop off as banks reevaluate on 2015 numbers

They pulled back on supply?

There should be a liquidity event soon after the news. The price climbed a little too fast today. Its gonna be a huge winner, long term regardless.

The Saudis didn't blink. OPEC did. Saudis just lowered their OSP by $1.70/bbl to Asian customers.

Lots of short covering going on with refinery turnarounds going into place.

Every time oil goes up, onshore producers will be ordered by their funding banks to hedge heir forward sales. So...upon seeing the $50 in WTI you will see immense selling begin. There are hardly any onshore US producers hedged into 2016.

I'm not going to stand in the way of a steam roller but in the $50s, if I see a day where the price closes lower than the the low of the prior 4 days, I'm going to sell me some WTI. Or, buy some $35 puts in March 2016.

$30.00 before $100.00 /biz/ros

In that scenario, wouldn't the hedging alone drive prices up through added demand?
