OG ethereum miner / early bitcoin buyer and 4chan oldfag here.

I sat on my ETH through the big DAO hack, and I've gone to every Ethereum-related conference since. I only started selling ethereum locally after august of last year to up my modest life a little, although I've networked pretty heavily over the years.

I'm bored and pretty fucking heavily connected to the oldboy altcoin groups, and I'm kind of sick of what's going on in the background.

Ask me anything. Especially about icos and crypto projects from sketchy ass countries.

Unlike traditional marketes, information travels down in a funnel. Some of the guys chilling in the old eth miner chat groups LITERALLY work in binance / bitfinex. Others run API scanners to detect upbit/binance/etc listings the second they pop up.

>>9163422

Where do I even start with this? Well, the most egregious things I can think of...

How about the fact that three whale cartels basically bought out every decent or hypeable ico in the 2017 bull run and artificially controlled the supply to dump on everyone?

The DBC pump and dump was fucked up.

Second: There is a go-to guy in China that Chinese bad actors/hustlers go to get whitepapers made. The guy literally pieces together paraphrased chunks of a lunatic OG bitcoin dev's bitcointalk rants in his coin thread.

Great project by the way, too bad everyone on that team is autism on aspergers and a coin that literally stole their code from 2015 is in the top 20

The market makers are painting a perfect technical chart. IMO it will get into "hilariously overvalued" territory towards the main net, and I won't be surprised in the slightest if disillusion with the final product is the catalyst for our next cooloff period.

Don't confuse "hilariously overvalued" with "shitty project" though

>>9163821

Charlie Lee definitely knew what was up.

>>9163833

I don't mine the main coins anymore, or for money really. I do it for collecting these days. I hop between interesting new coins like Ella, Akroma, Raven, and IPBC until the bitcointalk catches on. Then it's off to hunt for the new one.

>>9163805
>>9163803

EOS is probably legit, Dan larimer has always been a reliable guy. However, the use cases of EOS and ETH are different, and many projects don't really need the technology provided by EOS and won't go through the trouble of moving on. Plus, it sounds like the best thing since sliced bread but the technology sounds like a logistical clusterfuck to me. I roll with the tech startup life.

TRX pisses me off more than most coins. The same groups involved in that pump are now involved in tricky justie's new project (Odyssey). They also stole way more than their whitepaper but they can probably make a passable product that'll be inferior to the source material but 20x better marketed.

Supply chain is one of the most obvious use cases of POA public blockchains. The models AMB and VEN have going will go a long way to improving consumer trust in large industries and reduce costs along the supply chain if the sensor tech isn't vaporware.

VEN is leaning more towards an enterprise fundraising platform and they're probably going to catch up to NEO and maybe flip itafter main net, unless they fuck up HORRIBLY.

AMB on the other hand, looks like they're going to compete with IOTA in the long run with focus on dapps, given the guys they have on their team. They also declared that they're going to be the "Android of IoT" in a tweet.

WTC consistently fucks up and I dumped my GMN for a speculated 500k node on AMB. They also continue to hint and tease their community at partnerships I know they don't have a chance in hell to secure, like GSK.

Also, RFIDs don't have fucking magic radios.

Anyway, expounding a bit on Ambrosus, AMB's team has so many parallels with VEN it's not even funny. Anyone on /biz/ who's bought the fud and hasn't taken 15 minutes to research the team deserves to stay poor.

From our altcoin discord autism, their lead engineer Jean-Paul Sandoz (not even in an executive position) is the cousin of a guy who's shared a whole bunch of articles in french about his family - which coincidentally enough, is the Sandoz family that has its fingers across a lot of swiss products.

The most notable link there, is that Sandoz and Ciba-Geigy merged to form Novartis, the 4th largest pharmaceuticals company in the world in the 90s. Ownership of the company is still heavily distributed across that family, and Ambrosus indicated they have a pilot dapp program in their livestream on the 20th.

Yeaht that was interesting as fuck. I couldn't find anything on Google about a shellfish movement or shellism or anything like that related to crypto.
Could it refer to the fact that shells were used as currency at some point in China's history?
>In China, cowries were so important that many characters relating to money or trade contain the character for cowry: 貝. Starting over three thousand years ago, cowry shells, or copies of the shells, were used as Chinese currency.[2] The Classical Chinese character for "money/currency", 貝, originated as a pictograph of a cowrie shell.[3]
We need some chink anon to go on a treasure hunt and search the Chinese web for clues.

ICX and WAN are pretty high probability long term stores of value. Never buy more than ~0.2% of a coin's supply when you're that size though. You run into some ludicrous liquidity issues.

>>9168423

Both are good ideas, REQ has better fundamentals as FUN runs into severe regulatory issues. ALL coins that moon violently have whale market maker groups involved to mark the price up and down with supply/demand.

Look into the Wyckoff Method, the fundamental volume strategy involved with the BTC "barts".
