Electronics recycling and precious metal recovery. I always had a knack for chemistry so I get peoples old PCs and whatnot, part them out. Depopulate the boards, or just sell them outright. I refine the gold out of anything that’s worth it. Takes a lot of e waste to recover any significant amount of gold, but there’s good money in selling circuit boards, IC chips, tantalum caps, heatsinks, and the steel/aluminum from the frames adds up as well

How do you dispose of the waste economically? I've heard chemical refining isn't really worth it on a small scale.
