are DAG coins unironically the future if we wish to remove banks? i get it, BTC and LTC are a fun little blockchain toy but if we're being serious, we're actually going to need a fast, low energy coin

Why would you want to remove banks? I can see the appeal of crypto, and banks definitely are not bulletproof as we've seen, but how would you do all the things that banks actually are good for? Fractional reserve banking and the like make it so the economy is not restricted to a set size and the fact that they can be manipulated allows for dynamic changes in case of a crash or something. Why do you think people started banking in the first place?
