Exactly. People have the misconception that no one here is out to help another anon. Most of the time that is true, but there are exceptions. It's up to you to be smart enough to fill the blanks and discern between the two. No excuse for masari's case though, it was clear from the start since it was a small cap coin with promising development recognized by monero devs, you had to be blind to not see its potential.

Calm down, this can take some time. There's no premine to pay the listing fee, and there are many things to be developed yet, according to the roadmap. Bittrex could be more plausible, because it lists projects that it judge as "good ones" with no costs. But even in this case, it needs time until all the roadmap promised features are fully developed and implemented.

Tradeogre's cool though. It can do just fine there. There's some other new exchanges it might get on too that I think will keep growing like Ogre.

But adopting and testing new features (like the harmonic difficulty adjustment algorithm) in a coin before it goes upstream to Monero is a valid reason. Masari also wants to adapt uncle mining and blocktree scalability (thus solving a big issue currently with Monero). The anonymity it provides is also somewhat stronger as it uses 13 mixins in the Ring CT algorithm instead of 5. Just like Litecoin was always a playground for Bitcoin, implementing Lightning network before Bitcoin to prove that it can work. If you focus to much on Monero while neglecting the potential of other projects (newcomers) then you won't make it
