TLDR is I started an online business that eventually failed years later, but during that time I created a huge network of people in my industry and a few people at the top of the food chain liked the industrious/entrepreneurial aspects of my character and took me under their wing to teach me the business of being on top.

A short time later I managed to introduce two parties together who would have otherwise not done business with each other. They started doing big numbers and I get a piece of every transaction.

Unfortunately there's no formula to make magic happen. I've got some general advice if you want it though:

It's likely you'll fail dozens upon dozens of times before you succeed.

Testing and tweaking small things will make or break you.

Understand you will lose money and be willing to take calculated risks.

Start networking with anyone and everyone in your industry you can find via linkedin, email, skype, phone.

Learn to fraternize with older men.

Also make sure you submit to the established men. No one likes a pompous know-it-all kid.

My advice would be to not bother with free (SEO) traffic. You end up competing with every other broke idiot and indian for rankings.

Learn media buying.

Find skype mastermind groups.

Get off 4chan

Uninstall adblock and pay attention to the ads you see over and over again. If you've got money to spend, don't spend it on courses. Spend it on tools like whatrunswhere and rip successful campaigns and run them yourself.
