it's so confy that the BCH price continues to climb even against all the shorts

when shorts close (or get liquidated) a buy triggers, so those are all future buys

Not necessarily Finex themselves. It just takes a few big buys to start liquidating shorts, which pushes the price higher which starts liquidating shorts etc.. Can cause a huge dildo like we saw on BTC a week or two ago

Almost all of the shorts currently standing have been made in the last 1-3 days. Think about it. At the bottom of this short-pump, the price was $600. These have been long liquidated and also the ones that were made at the start of the pump.
It doesn't really tell anything about what is going to happen next, but it makes me feel good, knowing that a lot of these margin traders have been BTFOd. BTW, for every short being liquidated, the price goes up, because closing a short = buying the coin.
