I always think of this when people here with no friends talk about how widely adopted bitcoin is

Yeah, it's fucking insane. It's like, you could go out, ask 10000 people if they own 0.1 BTC, nobody would meet the criteria. Hell, not even 0.01, imagine 1 BTC. Fucking mongs.

Side note you 21 BTC to truly make it. This hasn't changed.

Bitcoin is weird because it IS mainstream, as in the majority of people KNOW about it or have heard of it.

But this is also correct, because even though people have heard of it, nobody actually goes out and buys it. People are still extremely skeptical and most people would scoff at the idea of "buying cryptocurrency," or they'd be scared to sign up/give their ID to coinbase, or another exchange.

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but it's a weird phenomenon where everybody and their mother knows about Bitcoin/Crypto but sooooo many less people actually purchase/buy into it.

Thing with all these smart ass fudders is that they lack any vision. If we had 100% evidence that X will be worth Y amount in the future, then it would be worth that Y amount in a couple of days.

I think some people here have seen the very believable ETH fud where a guy seriously and very technically explained why ETH wouldn't go beyond $10 or something like that.

Conclusion: Think big and take risks

Most people would consider 1 million yellencoin making it, but yeah 21 for future Rothchild status.

>Bitcoin is weird because it IS mainstream, as in the majority of people KNOW about it or have heard of it.

It's as mainstream as the internet in 1995. Bill Gates was on David Letterman talking about it, meant nothing for actual adoption. Also we don't need average joes in Bitcoin, we just need whales diversifying their portfolios into BTC, and it will happen, as tax havens are done for, bond market will collapse, etc.
