Did the recent crash change the way you trade? If so, how?

>> No.8991242

Yes, I finally fucking started using tethering up. 2 bad I didn't secure about 12k $ which I could doing it before crash ;d nice pic anon

Ditto. Taking my 10% gains now, not hodling like before. Fuck that meme.

>> No.8991400

>>8991202
Yes! I trade on longer timeframes now, diversify (will never "hodl" ever fucking again. If it's bearish on a long time frame it's getting dumped asap no matter how much I think "It can't get any lower") and actually trade coins that people know about (no more cryptopia or kucoin shitcoins, no icos), and I'm working on backtesting my trading strategies and automating them. Also reading a lot more about trading, the history of it, etc.

yeah, HODL is meme :) which probably newcoiners falls for as fuck :D

>> No.8991444

"Market cap is a meme" is a meme. The only way to make real money now is to trade low marketcap shitcoins. Also XLM is a meme

You're the type of people that will be frogposting six months later going: abloo bloo bloo! We should of just held and all we had to do was nothing to be up 50x!

Believe it or not that was the exact same scenario that happened with Ethereum where Anons literally had stacks of hundreds of Ethereum and they sold for a meager profit compared to what the could of had even during this market contraction.

HODL really is all that works, trading mostly loses you money. You have to hodl but have to hodl the right things! Possibly including fiat, sometimes.

Day-trading is a joke and even week trading can be bad for you. Got to just let the coins do the work.

HODL works in a bull market like the end of last year, HODLing in this market is only wise for a week or two

>> No.8991657

Go look at the top 100 from early 2017. Many of those coins are dead. You're assuming anons choose the right coins.

You can do both. Day trade and have aa long term stack. The two are not mutually exclusive. Like you can trade with 10k make 20% profit, pull out your 10k and just keep that 20% as 'free' coins. Or put it into your favorite stack.

HODLING DBC was a huge mistake for many here. It might take a year to recover. 6 months best case scenario. People would have been better off cutting their losses and either buying back in lower or trading other coins.

This mentality that day (swing, position, whatever suits your lifestyle) trading is a meme hurts this board. Same with TA. Why wouldn't you equip yourself with every possible angle to succeed?

I can trade with a 5-10k position and live very comfortably and support myself and my family. I can also hold little gems that are 250k - <10ml mc that might one day make me stupid rich.

Do it all guys.

Hodl meme probably saved the market from total panic sell and convinced people to buy 15k and up because "just hodl right lmao"

EOS is an exception because it's unironically the next ETH. every other project moons when BTC moons or not at all. For projects that are at 1 bil+ market cap a 10x is unlikely and a 100x is literally impossible

Ethereum was the right coin since it was not only used as a currency to exchange goods and services it was also backed with Smart Contract technology, a new concept that is starting to become adopted by applications.

Look for coins that offer similar usage not just as a currency but with a Technology that will help ensure its survival in the long term.

Real hodling should be defined as several months to a year or more. You have dumbshits who couldn't wait out two months and now everything is going back up.

Arbitrary numbers with arbitrary lines, that could be sensible to change in the future. But if a person buys and sells like this each day or week or month and QTUM does really well there are probably no suicides coming. Also I forgot a buy 6 and similar against USDT or whatever you want.

Finding low market cap coins that could moon is borderline impossible nowadays.

Absurd amount of scams, shitcoins and copycats.

You will on average make more money picking coins you believe in and holding for a long period not even memeing.

That shit will never recover. There aren't any "AI startups" that don't own computers while simultaneously also owning computers. Their proposed customers don't exist.
