Unfortunately, poor people have a very hard time. People literally put off surgeries waiting for approval from the govt. Hygiene is bad in gov hospitals, horrible doctors etc. Google a little about all the health tragedies that poor people have to put up with, it's heart breaking.

Before their arrival there was the Indu Valley civilisation which was fairly well developed, probably because of their contact with the Mesopotamia region.
