Hey biz. I've spent the past 7 years of my working carreer being told what to do, and I did well at it. But now, I have been promoted to Supervisor, and I'm in a predicament. I'm way too nice and can't delegate effectively. I can handle the responsibility, and I can communicate well, but when it comes to making tough decisions...I hesitate...alot!

Any tips for a new supervisor??

Thanks.

I'm the same way. Reason 1 I shy away from supervisor roles, it usually means extra work and not extra pay, 4 me anyways. I just end up doing shit myself after pointing shit out that needs to be fixed

What is the company you work for? I have only worked retail, currently goin to college. But I think that you should see your associates as a means to an end otherwise they will walk all over you. Sound pretty awful and I might be wrong, but in retail push over supervisors get fucked over.

Congrats on the ultimate wagecuck job. Middle management is probably the best wagecuck position. Making six figures having your employees doing all the work and you get all the credit. Having the power to fire and hire people. “”””delegating”””” all your assignments to your underlings while you enjoy the benefits of your position. Congrats on making it.
