They have a fork on the 30th so, yes, price will rise until the end of the month. Then it will drop.

a separate team are forking to make monero V. We saw a price rise up to ~400$ a month ago before a dump since the fork got postponed.

nah. people use it's privacy but it's a buffer coin.

goes like this.

buyer -> USD -> Monero -> seller

then the seller either converts it to bitcoin, bitcoin cash or straight into USD.

if buyer cant buy monero directly it goes: buyer -> USD -> bitcoin -> online convert to monero -> seller

ledger integration should be implemented soon - estimated at the next point release which is around 3 weeks. i think it might encourage people to invest to fill up their ledger pokedex

This. If crypto ever 'takes over' XMR will have a multi trillion $ mc.

You just described why it has constant buying pressure and why it's a good investment. Not every XMR bought is immediately sold. Look at how it has tracked vs. bitcoin over the years.

When we hit tail emmissions (0.6 XMR per block) by like 2022 its rise will become even more exaggerated.

Nobody else owns or wants XMR except me and you. Anyone that tells you otherwise is my paid shill. Your life is being filmed constantly and the audience laughs at you for believing otherwise. I'm going to dump all my XMR on you as soon as I think it will increase the ratings of the show and you'll be holding all the bags.

being a buffer coin Monero depends on its competitive privacy aspect. once other crypto such as Bitcoin Cash for example implements increased privacy Monero won't look so good any longer

Any coin that claims to be able to implement privacy features that has not had privacy by default right out of the gate is going to have an uphill battle dethroning Monero. Not saying it can't happen but every day that passes until then, Monero becomes more entrenched in its position.
