Its a placeholder token until the mainnet launches. When the mainnet launches the ERC20 tokens are frozen and you receive an equivalent amount of EOS mainnet tokens. Hence the ERC20 tokens have no rights, uses, purposes etc etc

I don't understand what's up with the cardano meme. Charles himself said they're not releasing any interesting feature for 2 years. That's there PLANNED roadmap. Imagine the actual time it's gonna take to see anything significant. Crypto could be completely different in 2+ years.

Whereas EOS is a fully functional 10k+ tx/s network released in 1.5 month.

Basically the only fud about EOS is the extremely smart disclaimer policy that basically tells you to fuck yourself and not sue them.
