I sold drugs from DNMs (darknet markets) for 2 years. I started in 2015 and quit in 2017. If you're interested you can AMA but here's the gist:
Get a PO box. Pay for it with cash. Fake ID/fake documentation is good but not necessary (I did it out of precaution).
Before there was Monero there was only BTC (and doge for the weird fucks). Buy BTC from Circle or Coinbase. It's best to buy it with cash but honestly I never cared enough. Tumble your coins.
First time ordering from a seller I'd always use escrow, but after a while I'd be comfortable just sending him coin and messaging him my order (PGP-encrypted) and it would arrive with little hassle. Always USPS priority so I'd usually get it in 3-4 days after ordering.
I never got caught.
Ironically, if I had just bought BTC and held it in the beginning (~$200/BTC) I would have wayyyy more money than I do now. But fuck it, I'm investing in it now. And yes, DNMs still exist. They aren't called Silk Road, they have random names and get shut down every few months. The darknetmarkets subreddit was my goto for info but the soyboy vagina plebbit mods shut it down so I assume everyone moved to some tor forum.

2009

walking down the street cops pull me to the side and asked my whereabouts the previous day

told them I live here, and I was in the area looking for a job

drove me to the police station "to confirm my ID was valid"

I never did anything wrong, so it never occurred to me I should scream and shout for a lawyer

Next thing I know the handcuffs are staying and I’m not going anywhere

Biggest mistake in my life was talking

The police officers immediately used my photo ID in a "6 pack"

Victims both stated I "looked like the shooter" but they were not sure. Crime took place down the street from where I live.

I didn’t realize what they booked me for until the judge read my bail amount. $2 million

I pushed the public defender to get me out next day she laughed and said "you told police officers you were near the crime this case is going to take at least 2 years and you will have to accept an offer or face LIFE in prison.

my mother and aunt in tears when they heard the charges and bail amount, that feeling will never go away.

Hired attorney for $50k I’m still paying back my family he pushed for my case to move fast and that’s why they dropped ALL CHARGES before it went to Superior Courts

best phone call ever

lawyer: are you standing up because I have something to tell you

me: sure, what is it

lawyer: the district attorney just dropped your case and they will release you tomorrow

best moment in life

value your freedom and small things in life. it taught me good lessons, but life is hard and now my mother being sick I hardly make ends meet and I’m still paying off lawyer fees

people always ask if the city paid me or what did I do after.

3 different lawyers told me the system works in favor of the police officers since the victims did point at my picture (photo lineup) it makes it seem like the police did their job

if you want to experience what this feels like watch The Next Three Days. (Gladiator fans? Russell Crowe?)

I heard Ripple is going with swift soon, I hope to be part of ICO to make it big and one day help others out. Thanks for hearing my story I am happy to take any questions of life inside SUPERMAX.
