Stocks involving supplying a service or good to old people.

Boomers are all getting old, and thoes companies are certain to grow.

Hold for 10 years, reinvest dividends.

Repeat whenever you get a spare $500.

Dont forget your safety net so you never will need to sell you stocks.

If i were you, i'd invest in some high risk/high reward shit like small marketcap coins.
You are young, you can take that risk.
With 500$ you wont become a millionaire if you invest in stocks.

And dont trust your bank advisor, he just wants the best for the bank - not for you.
I promise you that, i am speaking out of experience

This is /biz/ so he's probably like 40 if he got a whole $1,000 saved up anon. Average lifespan is like 42 in India so he's not that young anymore.

what is the point of gaining more stocks if you never sell them? isn't that the point?

Whatever you do don't buy that ponzi scheme Bitcoin, I watched the news of it crashing a few months ago.

I have good reason to believe silver is poised to make a 5% return this year if you like metals.

maybe you should get a job? if you "invest" $500 as you say is essentially the same of doing nothing unless you get lucky or know what you're doing. You can do it as practice for the big bucks or learn trading but don't expect much from it

It is an asset you can put in your application for a bank loan. It shows the bank that you are able to manage money and they will be more willing to help you than if you are a gambler who panic buys and sells

As previous people said, there's not much point putting your $500 in to stocks unless you buy some high risk, cheap penny stocks but may as well just put money into crypto then. The guy at the bank is most likely going to tell you to put into some lame blue chip stock or in a savings account. If you are going to be regularly investing $500 then it's a different story you can start to build a share portfolio. Anyway best of luck anon.

What do you think is reasonable risk and overly risky risk?
