Alts crash harder than BTC when BTC crashes, are you new?
Also, this hype market run in December was largely due to shit ERC20 tokens, they're dying so their big daddy ETH will die too.
Finally, ICOs are mostly paid in ETH, these projects are holding onto millions of ETH which they will dump on the market slowly and suppress the price.

PoS is very hard to implement. There are many attack vectors for any PoS system. Ethereum is hopeful that their compromises make a decentralised PoS system viable, but they are a long way from perfect.

It's hilarious to see all the clueless people defending PoW in this thread. The amount of effort you put into acquiring digital coins is completely irrelevant in the economic sense, no buyer gives a fuck about that. The only important thing is protection against sybil attacks, which can be done through faster, more energy-efficient means like PoS.
