Or... go out at night and follow street-sweeper trucks around, picking up the broken-off metal bristles.
Then files these down into hooks and bumps at one end, other end wrap in tape make a proper wooden handle. Buy a lock core from the hardware store, cheapest possible will be easiest. Also get a set of allen keys, pick one thats the right size and file down the short part of the L on top and bottom so it can fit in the keyway of your lock.
Then apply some torque and use your hook-pick to get practicing.
