You were right to lie about that, illegal to discriminate is legalspeak for legal to discriminate unless you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that we discriminated. Basically, unless you are way better than all the other candidates, you don't have a case. The racial thing is not nearly as important, I would just tell the truth to make yourself not look like a fucking weirdo.
