I was basically a NEET during high-school. I had a 1.0 GPA and neglected my hygiene. I made no effort to make friends. Then I dropped out in 11th grade. I was hospitalized for bipolar disorder. I was a NEET for about 8 months and then got a food-service job when I was 17. Getting a second one was easy. After several months I put all of my savings (6.5k) in chainlink. I’m still hodling. I’m basically a NEET because I quit my first job and am only working about 15 hours a week at Chuck E. Cheese’s. I’m taking a math class at community college but I don’t show up or do any of the work so I’m going to fail. I’m pretty directionless. I don’t feel any social obligation to work or contribute, but I also want to have money.

I remember being berated by a teacher for not wanting to bother to learn cursive writing. I thought it would be useless when computers were starting to be more popular.

That kind of sums up my entire experience with high school honestly. The only thing that really mattered was math for me.

It was a disaster attempting to garner anything important. They never taught me how to even do my taxes. I suppose I was expected to never learn what taxes even are.
