I was at the local McDonald’s near my university ordering a Big Mac at 2:00am. I remember that night because there was a full moon and I had an important test in the morning that would determine my graduation. As I pull up to the window, I hear a deafening boom come up from the sky. I bolt out of my car.
A beautiful blue light exploded in the night sky. “Sweet Jesus, what is that?” Said the worker. Car alarms went off as collisions happened. The few pedestrians and patrons stood, awestruck.
We watched as a pinprick of brilliant white light left a torrent of electric blue fumes. Although it had far left our eyesight, I knew it’s destination.
