Been shorting since 17k.
>>8856422
I'd get roughly 6.2m if I close it now.

Close it now. We've probably reached the bottom and are now on a uptrend.
Just cash out / put it into a crypto portfolio. $6m is enough.

Are you really using 50x leverage?
Because the 'contracts' take leverage into consideration, but the ROE is calculated over the principal, so you're 155x up on $800=124k
Which is totally awesome btw, but not 6.2m

Correct me if I'm wrong

That ROE is equal to shorting with 100x leverage from 17k. And even then he made like 3.5 BTC in total, not sure how you got to 124k.

I'm a retard, I used the 77x ROE from my screenshot.

But still, no matter what leverage he used, 40k contracts is 40k contracts.
That 15x ROI was only possible at 100x leverage and that would just mean that the collateral is not $800 but $450 which is 450x155=$70k. But what the fuck is wrong with that calculator showing 3.5BTC x 6900 = 24k?

>> No.8857421

why is /biz/ so dumb?
Guy obviously simply did his 40,000 contract and times 155x and gets 6.2mil
But that's NOT HOW IT FUCKING WORKS.
Holy shit.
stop falling for these larpers and educate yourself biz
