Fundamentally, r/buttcoin is still correct about all of this.

Crypto has far higher USD value now than it did a year ago, but it's still a nonsense market rooted in pure FOMO.

And anybody new to/interested in crypto in December who listened to r/buttcoin would have had their anus saved from destruction. Whereas, if they'd listened to /biz/, they would have gotten rekt.

I could just as easily say that pro-crypto folk are using 20/20 hindsight. Yeah, it went up a lot, but before that happened, at any given point in time, it was more reasonable to think that it wouldn't continue to go up than that it would.
