Meme and joking aside, how are you all planning for retirement? Between inflation chewing at the dollar and rising costs, we need to take a serious look into planning before we hit retirement age or else we'll be working well into our 70's

Protip: If you are on here and you are in your 20's (hell even if you are younger) START SAVING NOW, compound interest is an amazing thing and time is you most valuable asset.

My father saved a third of all his income for 30 years and managed to retire at 50 while living confortably. He didn't invest that money at all however, so if I've been putting small bucks in investment funds with what's left of my money. Hope to finish gradutation and get a job by next year and follow his footsteps

I only have 20k in retirement as a 27 year old and I only make about 40k per year. Am I fucked?
I feel like I should have more than double that by now at my age, but I didn't start working until 23 because I believed in the stupid fucking college meme. If I started working as a teen I would have so much more in retirement right now.
I can't even contribute more to my retirement right now because I'm still paying the student loans off for another year.

I agree with most of you guys. If crypto doesn’t make it I’ll kms. I’ve had a taste of gains and I ain’t going back. Right now my cost of living (living very minimally) prevents large savings. Any remains are straight into crypto, not a bank. I only need a 10x to achieve my dreams.
