Who needs oracles when every blockchain exists on EOS? Interchain operability is a solved problem with light clients and merkle trees.

Just another reason why devs will choose to be on EOS and other chains can't compete.

Because talking to other blockchains isn’t talking to internet API you brainlet.

EOS permabull btw

oh i see. so if a smart contract needed to, for example, grab a stock price, and there is no EOS app that already pulls in that information, then it still needs an oracle, i guess

since the entire internet won't exist on an EOS chain, we still need oracles, right?

EOS solved the fucking oracle problem? How do you trust the data from the EOS dapps though? How do they retrieve off chain data and place it on chain without oracles? EOS dapps cannot make web requests, can they?

To be honest.... i actually LOVE EOS.... but can't bring myself to invest because Larimer is a homosexual pedophile who fucks little boys....

If he was fucking little girls tho I'd be in.

Oops anon, not going to make many friends shitting on LINK around here.
Maybe you should try what the other loser pageet shitcoins do?

i think OP is confused. EOS is solving blockchain interoperability meaning that it can communicate with other blockchains to retrieve information. They do this by operating SPV-like nodes that validate other blockchains and including their responses as part of the overall blockchain consensus. In theory, it could communicate with a blockchain that has oracles implemented and retrieve information from there. In practice, oracles that are implemented on Ethereum will be implemented on EOS eg https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/88xcor/how_to_get_in_touch_with_eos_devs_we_are_working/

Hey look it’s a lone wolf LINK marine trying to bait EOS marines into a war that would result in publicity for LINK at the expense of EOS Chads.

Nice try. EOS is the new /biz/ coin. Get down or lay down. You will learn your role.

What happens to EOS on exchanged after June 1st switch? Will holders get the new EOS tokens, or are they fucked for not registering them in private wallets?

EOS is the only platform coin that will deliver the same way Monero is the only anonymous coin that delivers. Up to you to make up your mind

block.one is only developing the software. On June 1st there may be possibly more than one public blockchain using their software. EOS tokens will probably be frozen. You will likely be assigned coins on the new blockchains based on your token holdings. If your token is on an exchange, it's up to the exchange to decide what blockchains they support hence what coins you get. Obviously you want to hold them in your own wallet as the safest option

Note how Bitshares and Steem have huge mcap. These were application blockchains built by Larimer who's in charge of developing EOS. After EOS is complete, Larimer will continue developing on EOS but also applications on top of EOS similar to Steemit and Bitshares. Think about that for a moment how you can have huge projects on top of EOS.

There is a long queue of ICOs that are waiting for EOS to release to launch there. EOS holders will likely get airdropped. DYOR
