have you noticed that in the last months number of people complaining they can't withdraw fiat from bitfinex skyrocketed? Same with people complaining their deposits disappeared. There were some issues with banned bfx accounts on reddit. They were always shady but right now if they exit scam you can only blame yourself for losing money. I withdrawed everything from bitfinex today in bitcoin cash (bcash because after 1 confirmation I could already send it to another exchange) I'm unironically waiting for crypto regulation so I can short that garbage on normal exchanges.
