did you ever buy a juicer? on paper it seems like an amazing investment. make your own fresh juice, control what’s in it. no additives, no added sugar all natural and healthier alternative. a great method for dieting and eating the right amount of vitimins everyday.

you first buy it and you start juicing everything. making all kinds of concoctions and trying them out. learning tricks about adding kale for volume and nutritions. it’s exciting for a short while.

then you realize everything is meant to be juiced. even the things that are good juiced like grapes are just a hassle because it costs so many grapes to make a small amount of juice.

now you start to realize why the additives and natural flavors come into play. you become disenchanted with juicers and it just makes more sense to buy your juice and your new toy collects dust from here on out.

this was an analogy. juicers are crypto. juicing is decentralizing and tokenizing. it’s gonna get old fast.

Juice still contains fructose, which is poison. So I don’t think it’s a good idea to have an unnaturally high amount. Probably just eating the fruit is better

Juicing is a good way to lose weight and get pre-diabetic conditions under control, but it's a pain in the ass long term, and if you don't live on your own property where you can throw the remains into a compost pile, keeping large amounts of pulp and shit around gets smelly fast and attracts bugs and vermin.
Juicing is best in short phases, like week long juice fasts, or a couple meals a week. And if you do that, you can buy the juice, you don't need a machine.

i like juicing cheaper produce like carrots or apples. spinach is fine too when it's starting to go bad. i chuck anything in there's that old.

would never juice grapes, berries or more expensive fruits unless they were bruised or old.

Good thing I came back to my juicer and upgraded to juicing green leafies and vegetables and mixing them with fruit and hemp/oat/spirulina smoothies.

Much better the second time around.

you can score these at goodwills all the time for cheap.

They all work, there is nothing wrong with them, most people get rid of them because of how much of a pain in the ass they are to clean.

Your other facts are correct.

Juice is really bad for you. Think about it. You put in 2-4 apples for an apple juice and you get all the sugar out of them. Then you drink 2-4 apples sugar water and are still thirsty/hungry. It fucks you up, unnaturally high amounts of sugar, if you had to eat 4 apples you couldn't eat much more afterthan, also the fiber that you filter out is probably the healthiest part. Vitamins are a meme and have not a huge effect on your overall health. Eating the right macros is way more important.

My gf bought one. She used it daily for a month or two.
It makes good natural juices. But it takes time to buy all the fruits and vegetables, prepare them, and then clean the juicer.
If you have space to store it, buy one.
You can find cheap second hand juicers online.
