Wait, how exactly is Soros going to short the market?

I thought the futures had low volume? And you can't short the futures anyway, right?
Also, it seems like most of the appeal is actually owning the coins and not trading futures.

Also Coinbase doesn't have the large institutional accounts yet, so they can't really put in a lot of money (assuming they would even use that/Gdax). It's just retail investors. And we would see a massive pump before the market is shorted? I don't understand why this is a bad thing? I have to do more research how he get the billion from shorting England, but how logistically can that be done on crypto?
