Where did the term "Bitcoin Core" even come from? Was that purely a Roger Ver creation? Why does he feel as though he is entitled to re-name someone else's product?

Can I open a restaurant called "McDonald's Prime" and then insist that everyone else refer to the existing McDonald's as "McDonald's Original"?

the important part in "bitcoin cash" is "bitcoin" as the project's objetive is to be a protocol for bitcoin.
Leaving the main part of it is a childish attempt to undermine it's importance since it's a fork of the original chain and it's at least as legitimate as btc core.

If you call bitcoin cash "bcash" you'd have to call bitcoin "bcore" if you want to leave the bitcoin out of it, which doesn't make sense

It's Satoshi's vision whereas bcore (blockstream) is basically becoming the central bank of their shitty chain

McDonald's is a copyrighted trademark, while bitcoin is not owned by any one company (yet) so you'd get shut down easily by their lawyers.

A better example would be forking tennis from "Tennis Original" to "Tennis Prime" with new rules.
