If the price of btc keeps going down, will the miners be turned off?

>> No.8774088

5.8K 80% of the world would be mining at loss

btc will automatically adjust difficulty if people quit mining it.

The difficulty would simply adjust. You brainlets are really something else.

I just hope soon. These faggots ruined the GPU market

I wouldn't say it will go to miners turning off.
The miners have enough money to pump the price and protect their investment.

>> No.8774607

this.
They will simply not allow the price to go below the profit zone, ever heard of bitfinex and tether newfriends? welcome to biz

>> No.8774627

>>8774167
>The miners have enough money
not if they spend it on failed pump and then start mining at a loss

>> No.8774642

Why do you think there are so many obscure, absolutely cheap and meaningless shitcoins that are STILL mined by someone? Difficulty readjusts, faggots.

>muh decentralization
If it falls below 6k China will control 90%+ of mining

you know there are probably people with money who would equally benefit from pushing chinese out of the mining game
even more there are people who would tremendously benefit from pushing all miners out of the game and ruining bitcoin

It could be, but I personally don't think anyone gives a shit about bitmain, tether & friends club.
Not right now at least when there's barely any money in, just my two cents.

you mean all miners? it posible to happen on price lower $0.00008

>> No.8774789

on price lower $0.00008 will be about only 15 miners

>> No.8774832

>>8774073
Yup, Satoshi will switch them off when the price dips under $3000, to save on the electricity bill of course

If 80% of miners stop at the same time it could pretty much kill BTC.

Current difficulty is so high that every new block would take hours if not days to find. Next difficulty adjustment not in a few days but maybe 8 months oder longer.
