Unironically yes. Any field that’s over saturated

>> No.8767110

Depends on what your last name is. If it's something like Smith, it matters a lot.

What's a good MBA school that I can do online?

>> No.8767126

Yes. And then, it's not even about that piece of paper. It's all about the connections you make during that time in graduate school.

The degrees that don't matter where it's from are engineering degrees (except software engineering which is oversaturated). Engineers are still the most scarce educated people around and thus employees will hire everyone they can get their hands on.

However MBAs are oversaturating the market so you NEED to get a degree from an ivy-league even if you are not an american to get a genuine international position with a good company.

Ok how do I do that?

It does matter. An MBA from Wharton will always be worth more than an MBA from Southern illinois University or some other literally who college. But the main value in those prestigious MBA degrees is your ability to network with people while you're studying, not just what you learn. So it's possible to network on your own and attain the same value of a Wharton MBA, but even then people will still treat Mr. Harvard's degree as better than yours.
