If someone's shilling something don't ask for how much it's going to go to, but for how much they bought
The higher the risk smaller the position should be, it's prudent to take profits while shit moves and consider fees

The thing is that there are really weird ideas about investing in crypto. Like averaging systematically makes a lot of sense, but averaging with the idea of holding to 0 doesn't look that good, like when people recommend just buy now and check back in three months. Maybe in three months is the time to buy, not now.
