anyone think the reason we stopped at 20k was that all major exchanges were overloaded and were forced to close registrations for long time?

I think they lost lot of money because of this and next time they will be ready..

No, it's because the price went up 20x in 1 year for no good reason.

At the end the price went vertical, which during bubble is known as a "blow off top" phase.

This marks the end off the bubble and a long deep correction ensues.
