Token usage has already been clearly stated in the whitepaper anon, please read it. As for Staking this will be announced according to ICON very soon. Why should anything in the crypto space be worth anything? We are still incredibly early because just about everything is speculation thus far.

BUT there are coins plan to stick around for much longer, examples can be: BTC, ETH, XRP, XLM, NEO, ELA, OMG, ICX etc. Why? Their connections/parent companies/partnerships/vision.
