What's the best way to invest in smart contracts I.e. What port of coins would be the ultimate smart contract investment?

It doesn't have to be exclusively cryptocurrency projects is there any companies you're looking to buy such as docusign when they eventually hit the exchange

What's your smart contract port?

>> No.8672606

Invest directly in protocols/platforms, if there is a smart contract boom, these will implement them more directly. The dumbest thing to do would be to think that some type of adapter/dongle would be needed forever.

You're saying LINK? Good for now but in the future oracles will be built in from the ground up?

Pretty much this. Couple others that you could consider (some fairly speculative):
- ACT
- NULS
- TAU
- REQ
- QSP
- VEN
- NAS

On page 4 of link wp it explain how Link will be able to adjust to technological advancements/be able to adapt. Idk what this exactly means besides link not becoming obsolete anytime soon

ChainLink and Enigma. There are over a dozen "Blockchain 3.0" platforms fighting for market share, and jerking themselves off for most TPS etc. Who knows which will win, or if any of the current ones will win.
ChainLink and Enigma are lone first movers solving broad problems facing general smart contract adoption. No matter which platform wins it's going to need a trustless oracle. The case for Enigma is slightly less strong, because it's theoretically more feasible to develop in-house privacy than it is to develop an in-house decentralised oracle, but I still think Enigma are legit enough that it's an excellent hold.

In your opinion how far away do you think we are from smart contract adoption? I've listened to Sergey talks and he says 3-5 years but not exactly sure the dates on those videos.

There will be early adopters of smartcontracts, however mainstream adoption will be 2020 imo.

I'm like 65% LINK, also have some ENG and REQ.
All my other coins (ICX, ELA) I'm planning to sell during the next bullrun and reinvest into those 3.
