If you care about women more than money you're on the wrong board. I was driving to work to work the other day and all I could think about was investing and my current investments. Then it dawned on me. This is all i ever think about. Even on my lunch break at work today I changed up my retirement investments on fidelity. Is this healthy?

Yes because the majority of people don't think about money as something to accumulate and grow, but rather a tool to just buy things they want with it.

It could be an issue if you continue to obsess over it even after you've "made it", but I feel like most of us will just be more chill and not freak out as much after we no longer have to work thanks to our investments.

Or idk you could become one of those coked out guys that does nothing but stare at charts all day now that you have even more time to do it, end up making one wrong move, and fuck everything up, or just never be happy with any amount you get.

EITHER WAY OP you will be better off later in life than 99% of people, because at least when you have to eventually face your problems, you're not poor and can survive on your own.

if you have to ask, then the answer is already no. try taking a break from it all for a week or so and see how you feel.

First you gotta get the money, then you gotta the power, THEN you get the roasties.

I'm in the same mental state. I go to bed dreaming of percentages and stamp duty tax ill have to pay on particular stocks and end up dozing off calculating how much growth a stock will have before i sell it and the time frames of my different investments as well as compound interest.

The thing is that I was bad at maths in high school and i dreaded tests as I always used to get stressed out. Now Putting ten grand on a stock doesn't phase me at all. People my age and friends I have are amazed that ive saved what I have but I'm taken aback as i'm not a genius and you don't have to be to make good financial decisions You just have to have discipline and put in time to read about particular companies and news.

This generation of youngsters live on credit card debt to fund their lavishly looking lifestyles to impress their Instagram followers and materialistically driven members of the opposite sex. it amazes me how a lot of people don't know the value of their money and think being in debt is normal.

I agree with OP. If you care about anything other than money you're never going to make it. Give me any argument about how you value something other than money and I will counteract with how money can bring you more of whatever good or service you proposed. Abundance of capital is true liberty. To be tied down to nobody, nowhere, to have total freedom to express yourself totally, completely, without fear of falling victim to others judgement, or worse still others mercy. What would you do with a million? A billion? You could change the world.
You can't change the world with a woman.

Enjoy your loneliness OP.

Nothing more sad than a rich old man with literally no friends but only a golddigger wife.

Fucking lots of women and have short relationships is a waste of time and money. Finding a decent long term chick who shares and supports your financial ambitions is the thing to go for. I personally never felt the satisfaction of one night stands. You've got to also bare in mind that sex might not give the same high to some people as making impressive profits on investments,
