This is going to be brutal in a few weeks or months, market recovery will take 10+ years.

Probably best to pull out for at least 12-24 months.

I think we will end up with a major crash, at least 2008 levels but most likley much much greater.

Economic stagnation for years to come, the new investment return of 1.5% per a year......

Also I love how there were initial signs of major investors pulling out from US markets, and yet media/government keep telling people not to panic and not to do anything drastic.

This is 1929 again. China fucked up by pumping their market and preventing selling back in June. Europe has a credit and liqudity problem. The US has debt problem which was kept at ease with taxes, investors and market confidence. China was just a pump and dump market. Japan debt is a major issue and the current market downturn will force them to Banzai through it.

Abe has already lost his seat once. Society's problem isn't that they don't question it. Its that they don't vote unless the ultimate shitstorm is raining down upon them.

>> No.866818

HERE WE GO STEELERS

>> No.866819

>>866807
The shitstorm has been raining on them since the 90s. The Japanese people are very resilient, adaptive but most of all compliant, which has been their greatest strength and curse should idiots like Abe come to power. If the American or Australian people had to live the lives of the average Japanese person they would have revolted a long long time ago.

>> No.866853

>>866819

The "shitstorm" of recession affects all nations differently. Japan has mostly weathered its recessions to the point where normal life continues. Life under a Japanese recession would be considered great financial success in most of the world. The real problem is that they ultimately allow the conditions to linger for a critical and dramatic happening. In other words, normal life for them must come to a grinding halt before they are convinced that voting power converts into meaningful change.
