How much REQ has actually been burnt so far? Is there a counter or anything on etherscan that tells you?

>> No.8644864

the network just launched their mainnet. they get burnt as long as transactions are made. adoption will generate more burnt tokens in an initial phase.
you wanted them to just burn it so the price goes up in one afternoon? c'mon...

>> No.8644945

>>8644902
Imagine how much will be getting burned if normies start using it to send fiat to each other in the future

>> No.8644958

>>8644932
Ok but can you tell me what value the actual REQ token has? Does it actually serve any function?

>> No.8644975

>>8644945
That would be good if the REQ token actually had any inherent value.

Paying the fees for the transaction, without being dependent on ETH. In the future there will be implemented a government layer, which will allow token holders to participate in the future development of the network.

>> No.8645006

>>8644975
Well it will increase in value as more are burnt with adoption

>> No.8645020

>>8644958
a) all tokens exist initially for funding, if anyone tells you otherwise is lying.
b) req wants to be agnostic so the payments will be made in req. like eth has gas. its the token chosen by the network to be the fee itself.
c) technical independence to adapt the token to future needs.
