I also remember Y2K.
We were about to cross into the year 2000 where we all thought BTC would hit $2000 each. Sadly, it didn't happen for another 20+ years

I remember the days when I'd just call my bitcoin broker, and that was the most you could do, all there was to it. Now we have robots buying in china and selling in america the same second by ziccy zaccing some electricity.

Old Timer here.. back in 1957 we had the crypto-crash of all crypto-crashes. It was terrible, co-workers at JP Morgan were jumping out the windows at a maniacal pace. I couldn't stop them no matter how hard I tried. What made it worse was the guys jumping were taking people with them even though they didn't want to go! It was awful, just awful. That's the day I started drinking. Haven't had a sober day since then.. morning, noon or night. Oh the memories.
