I only get on fairly recently and already learning how to hold bags
Has a slump like this ever happened, and is this one significant?
I'm prepared to hodl long term so I'm not bothered, and not getting weak hands just yet, but I'm looking at all the doom and gloom threads and they're getting to me a bit.

After Gox we had a similar slump that lasted two years. Gox's ghost is now with us so expect another two year bear market. Try to time the bottom, honestly. You will gain more than you lose R:R wise than holding. And if it takes off on you then you buy lower than what you were at.

I wouldn't try to sell and buy back in by timing the bottom unless you are 100% commited. If you weakhand out and it starts to go up again shortly after you may be tempted to get back in only for it to go down again. Only sell to buy back later if you are NOT going to buy back unless its lower

Stick around til 2023 and you'll see.

Shit's not about just hodling, learn everything you can all the time. You would be surprised how many of those that survived the worst bears got into Forex trading at some point.

crypto has been boring AF except the december 2017 peak and the 2013 pre mount gox bitcoin going to 900 peak. I believe in a 2018 double peak (first peak was the december 2017 one) search logarithmic progression bitcoin double peak and you get tons of discussion about the double peak yes/no.

I'm in the YES side because i think the attention for digital assets is growing worldwide so i cant imagine a 2 year crypto winter starting right now. i wouldnt make sense.
