They're in trouble because the best interest of their bottom line is the opposite of the best interest of their users. So they either have to choose to make less money by NOT selling their users lives, or they side with their users and lose all the money they make selling the data. Either way facebook goes down.

They're fine, and will continue to print money.

In the long run they will go down. The raised prices, and their lineup is starting to look like leftist propaganda. People watch TV to be entertained, not lectured at.

Especially for some of the other tech stocks like Nvidia, who I suspect will be reporting extremely solid earnings due to their important role in AI, virtualization clusters, mining, and commodity computing devices, and yet closed almost 8% down today due to some meme news about self-driving cars.

Twitter and Tesla are probably fucked though, unless their earnings situations will have changed dramatically.

I called Netflix not being a big player any more a long time ago. It was pretty obvious around the time hulu, Amazon Prime and HBO started making their own content and being parallel platforms. Netflix's original lineup being filled with leftist propaganda, BLACKED.com shit and legitimate cash-grab ripoffs for every one decent production doesn't help at all. At least the market's working as it's supposed to.

As for Microsoft,

This seems more "family and business friendly" than it seems to be political censorship. Making their platforms, which are widely used in schools and business, literally Safe For Work, is an alright idea desu but I'm not sure about the ramifications.

You're spot-on about Google and Facebook, and probably Twitter. Anyone in the political underground and hobbyist tech world has been seeing alternative services pop up for a while, and GROW (not for Facebook, though). I wouldn't invest in firms like DuckDuckGo, GAB, Brave etc. if they go public, however. We'll see even better alternatives pop up in time.

To be perfectly honest, Amazon's a safe bet. It's gonna be a while before they get slapped with anti-trust.
