How the FUCK do you make money on stocks?

I've been ""investing"" the $10k (AUD) I made on crypto before the bear market hit on stocks that look promising but this shit barely moves.

WTF? Why would you invest in stocks when there hasn't been a recession for 9 years? This long of a non-recession period in stocks has happened only 3 times in the last 100 years, anon. Literally one of the worst time to invest in stocks. Did you even do some little research? The market might recover temporarily, but the next 2 years in general are going to be shit for stocks and the whole economy.

If you want to hold for the next 10 years, then you are pretty much guaranteed to have gains though. That is what the stock market offers: less risk, less reward. More stability than any normal crypto.
