why would companies and banks or whatever adopt crypto currency when its price changes so drastically from day to day? if you accept a million dollar payment in real life money, it will still be a million dollars tomorrow. if you accept a million dollars worth of some shitty internet coin, it could be worth 800,000 thousand in 2 hours.

Adoption leads to stability. Also consider that they would be adopting utility crypto and stablecoins not Bitcoin and the like. Fluctuating operating costs from using ETH is just a variable business expense.

Thats because you are giving fiat value to a coin. Sure you can have a million dollars and it will still be a million dollars tomorrow, but maybe the million dollar house you wanted to buy yesterday now cost 1.3M. Same way, If you have a thousand bitcoins today it will be a thousand bitcoins tomorrow, once the value of the coin is the coin itself, then this problem will dissapear. .

Yep. Only coins with serious use will be around in the future. Other ones will just die off and probably start working for those successful ones.
