I just don't understand what the catalyst for a bull run would be at this point especially when the moves from the TPTB seem aimed at tanking it there is the theory they are trying to drive the price down so they can accumulate and then it will skyrocket to a point no one will buy in again but that seems wishful thinking

My guess would be another global recession or some kind of economic shakedown in the US. The last time it happenednin 2008 was essentially what spawned bitcoin.

I think the next recession would legitimize and enfranchise cryptocurrencies far beyond just a water cooler discussion or an interesting article about how its prices were increasing to record highs last year.

THAT, or I think that it's all just a whale's pool. It's a cool off period for them and they'll inevitably be back

It needs time anon. LOTS of people were burned in this crash. The public perception is that the party is over. Psychology drives the bulls and people need to forget about the crash. They need time to adjust to low BTC prices. When BTC is done bottoming out and goes sideways for long enough for people to see this as the "proper" price, THEN we'll be set for an even bigger bull market.

The banks crash and so will fiat. The only move I see is crypto being the future. We're in the Fourth Turning, crisis phase. It's gonna last until 2028. So what's going to happen is both good and bad events.

It's really scary at the same time some hope lies in crypto. But it goes beyond just having money. It's having resources to live everyday.

Gee, I wonder what's causing South Africa to be so into Bitcoin. Surely there's no race war brewing. Surely there's no need for a distributed store of value that the nig-nogs can't get.

This is what adoption looks like - when shit starts burning. Next bull run happens when the financial markets in the world collapse. The good news is that it's beginning to happen. Thank Papa Trump and trade wars for that.

Yep. Now that DGD is moving to open release you can even use Gold backed tokens if you don't want exposure to regular crypto volatility. Same with DAI for USD (transparent Tether alternative you can hold in your Ethereum address). Any Boer (or other people needing to gtfo of bad situations) need to take note.

difference is this time around a lot more players want in or know the game so we won't be going as low as post gox. Bottom is written in stone at 6k

Steve Bannon, is basing his advice on ONE interpretation of how this crisis should be resolved. He believes that the outcome should be the "deconstruction of the administrative state," by which I assume he means a significant reduction in the role of the American government in the lives of the citizens.

Time is a resource that requires an additional mechanism to achieve anything.

What is it that would result?
