The reason mainstream media coverage is so heavy and projecting so much FUD these past few months is because the bigger players that haven't stepped foot into the market yet(hedgefunds like Blackrock and and Ren Tech) want the price to be at absolute bottom before they enter the market. These are players that can afford to buy the market several times over if they want, and they want regulation(i.e. these guys don't often lose)

The conclusion of the G20 meeting two days ago in Bueos Aires tells us that there will in fact be regulation at some point, most likely this year, however, all we have right now is a deadline of July in which finance minsteres must "offer very concrete, very specific recommendations on, not 'what do we regulate?' but 'what is the data we need?'"

It’s funny that you think you know anything about the strategies of large hedge funds.

Don't think they need the absolute bottom to buy in, but I agree that big money isn't in Crypto, and maybe never will be.

It's not about need, it's about squeezing the absolute maximum profit possible.

There is absolutely no reason for most hedge funds to care about crypto. These are not hopeless people that need high risk high return investments. Most people in the traditional financial world think cryptocurrency is stupid.

Hedge funds don’t “squeeze” profit out. They make very smart, calculates investments that HEDGE AGAINST RISK in various market. Crypto is the riskiest market. Hedge funds worth anything are looking to buy gold, commodities, and equities in developing markets right now (and other obscure investments about which normal people have no idea or access)

Plus, if you really think hedge funds buy media influence to affect their investments, you’re buying into the crypto conspiracy BS way too much. Buy gold now, it’ll probably grow over 300% soon and you don’t have to worry about it being worthless ever like 95% of cryptos will be within 2 years...then diversify into the equities market once it goes through the inevitable recession.

Yeah goy, hedgefunds just throw money at markets at random, they don't lobby for beneficial regulations or seek low prices. (((Bankers))) are totally fucking mysterious and too subtle for us mortals - don't try to second guess them.

Kek sure kike. Nobody on wall street ever gets their buddies in the financial media or regular media to manipulate the market. This hasn't been a consistent strategy since the 1920s when Goldman Sachs did it. Sure thing Rabbi.

Define absolute bottom.
