The Medium article about supply economics ends where the interesting information begins. The dev team writes:

After that they write about the psychological aspects of their unit economics but don’t explain that point very much (on purpose i think).

Looking at these numbers one can see that there will be 21 times less TRTL than Satoshis. Many people think the supply is absurd „1 Trillion coins, wtf?!“. But looking at the basic unit level Turtle Coin actually seems to be a low supply coin disguised as a high supply coin. Think about this: in total there will be 21 Million BTC where there will only be one million MTRTL (MTRTL = 1.000.000 TRTL). I repeat: right now there are only ~ 8,3 billion TRTL (~ 8300 MTRTL) in circulation

Also:
It becomes a problem if you want to trade it on exchanges though. It gets locked at 1 sat like now, which is good if you want a coin to be stable but it takes huge investments to make it move its value in sats: the first possible value increase in satoshis boosts TRTL value by 100%, which is kind of bizarre :).
By the way, this bizarre situation also allows you to buy TRTL for 1 sat and put a sell order for 2sat. If TRTL does not die out and if you have enough patience for the stack of TRTL on 2sat to empty, you are looking at a 100% profit (excluding fees)
