We all dumped because ARK got no partnerships, decided that their functionality is to let people make their own really shitty slow bloated database (point click blockchain) decided that the ARKVM is going to be off chain, the fees are fucking high, and v2 is coming out after EOS (which can do everything that ark does for free and faster and has 2b to spend on it's community) comes out and has literally no dev support.

It's dead in the water at this point

1. Most crypto “partnerships” mean absolutely fucking nothing. IOTA and VeChain tout partnering with powerful organizations but in actuality the organizations just responded to their desperate emails and so they think it constitutes a partnership. ASIDE FROM THIS, Francois, lead Ark Dev, is setting up something big with the French government, which would probably constitute a “partnership” already from other shitty cryptos like the aforementioned

2. Interplanetary DB is far, far off in the future. ArkV2 is probably going to tackle that challenge anyways

3. ARKVM being off chain is actually the best decision, because otherwise it’s just Ethereum v2 and will get bloated in a similar fashion. Also you literally just cited bloating as a potential issue, fuck off

4. Fees are reasonable compared to shit like NEO, and will be constantly re-evaluated by the team. No issue here

5. EOS is the most Vaporware project out there and got absolutely exposed by le current year man, it’s not even remotely a threat and will be Bitconnect v2 once people realize it’s a scam
