if you use bitmex and declare your trades to the IRS, can you get in trouble? is it illegal to use bitmex under US law or is it just against their TOS?

bitmexicans are illegal in US

irs dgaf if your income is legal or not so long as you pay them. bitmex is probably breaking US law by allowing you to trade there. obviously they dgaf about that. i doubt you're breaking the law by trading on bitmex, but even if you are, the irs isn't the agency that deals with that shit and your tax returns are private.
